Default Lcy 130 Ribbon Ts Parameters

Does anyone have the TS Parameters for the LCY 130 RIBBON TWEETER? I contacted Ying Tai Trading Co. through their website at http://www.lcy.com.hk/ with no luck. All other manufacturers have the Driver specs available on their websites but not LCY. The only infomation that is listed is:
Frequency Response : 1.8KHz-60KHz
Sensitivity : 92dB / 2.83V / 1M
Nominal Impedance : 8Ù
Magnet Type: Neodymium magnet
Ribbon Effective Area : 740mm2
Ribbon Thickness : 0.006mm
Nominal Power Handling : 150W

I know that John Krutke has tested this particular tweeter, so John if you are out there, can you help with this matter?

In common sense, a ribbon speaker unit does not have T/S parameters.

It sure has, but it is used on an infinite baffle.

So how do I create a crossover without any of these specs?

Calculate with the DC resistance and set the crossover frequency at least one octave above Fs - that's all. It must have a matching transformer, and the resistance seen by the crossover is the DC resistance of the tweeter X the turns ratio squared.

just go and see the zaphaudio.com site. he has tested the LCY130.

What i can say is :

the impedance is quite flat (about 10 Ohms) and slightly rise at 20kHz (transformer effect)

What is important to know is the natural 5 or 6dB/octave rising response curve of this tweeter... I have a LCY108 and the response curve is quite the same as the LCY130. I did measure at 0 degre and i have a 6dB/octave natural rising curve... 15 to 20 degre make the LCY flat at 88 or less dB in efficiency.

it is more 88dB than 92dB in sensibility. 92 is reached at 20kHz...on axis... but as i mentionned, this tweeter is not a winner in eficientcy.

well, i hope this help
