I have ideas to build a tweeter out of two 0.8 mm thick PCB's and glue the diaphragm on it with double sided tape used to stick ornament and such on the wall/ceiling. This stuff is also 0.8 mm thick and can hold 50kg per xx cm. (dont know exactly) The PCB's are 160 x 100 mm and have single sided copper. I think i will cut out 1 area of 130 x 70 mm and solder 0.8 mm diameter wire on it, spaced 0.8 mm apart. Does it make any difference for the electrostatic field to place them on the long or short side ? grtz ST |
