Default Dayton PTMini-6 and AMT Mini-8

Has anyone tried one of these speakers? In Poland the planar one cost about 16$. In my opinion it's very cheap for that kind of tweeter. That's why it drawn my attention . Air motion transformer one cost about 40$...so it is fairly cheap too. I've never heard any planar or air motion transformer tweeter and I'm curious how do they sound.

Their sound is decided by their frequency response. I have Mini-8 drivers and they're very versatile. Never a phasing problem because they're not susceptible to that. If you know a woofer to accompany it then you're golden.

I have a woofer to acompany them . It's old polish speaker tonsil gdn 16/10. Very well build. Here's a picture of it. http://obrazki.diyaudio.pl/24217/hsc...1383678512.jpg. Solid cast metal frame and cobalt magnet. It can easily play 6khz.
