Still working on my new baffles, running with 8 Emim for a while. The new baffles wil also have 8 Emim. The senter of the baffel is made of mdf, and is about the same widt as the RS1 baffel. The sides is made og glass and vil also be about the same widt and angle backwards as the RS1 baffel. It feels safest to yuse about the same dimensions as the orginal baffel. It only higher, about 190 total.
The baffels on the picture has been primed 2 times to get enough to sand on before i paint them gloss black.
They are IR dryind on the picture

The tweeter has a passive filter, not sure where it goes in. The Emim rolls of nicely around 14k hz. I have a measurement done with 3 Emims in the RS1 baffle.
nice phase response , i though they where sensitive? or those measurements might not be calibrated.
Paintet and ready for the glass.
wow thats not a regular paint job by a amateur for sure ! looks great !

They are alot more sensitive without the orginale crossover
No they both are playing with the bass system. Crossed 280hz with at simple 12db passive filter. The bass system are crossed with av DBX PA filter.
The sound is awsome.
Later i build the bass system with 12 pc Infinity 10" polyprop woofers. In a dipole baffel.

I just noticed the clear plexiglass
Its regular glass, 12mm hardened The with is the same as RS1 baffel and
Angeled backwards is almost the same as RS1. I thaught it be safest to use sizes from the original
Looks pretty good, I sure wish we could hear it. The little bass towers look totally out of place...lol.
The bass system is just for test. Im building the 12x10" Infinity polyprop dipol bass system later, i have al of them waiting
My experiense from earlier testing says that crossing the bass so high suits the placement on sides of the Emim towers. More details smack and fun With my Emim test baffels i used other bass system.
