Hi all! These speakers are still great. However, I've got the itch again... I'm looking to build a pair of much more refined speakers, with taller panels, powder coating, larger holes in the steel, refined wooden frame, clear spars, and built in woofers. I'll be posting a new thread soon for these new speakers .

Hi Guys
Question pls. There’s always the focus on tensioning the Mylar on the lenght wise of the panel, what about tension on the side ? I’ve watch the video on ML panel & the woman simply hand stretch the mylar basically to to prevent wrinkles.

Thks

If you also add tension in that direction it will 'saddle.'
