Default rebuilding quad esl63

Just wondering if it is a good idea to instead of soldering up all the panels each time the speakers are serviced or repaired that I could possibly use push fit connection, like crimp ones or block connectors, or does the high current restrict this to just using solder joints.

I would go with connectors, even before the transformer, after the transformer even a purist would have no logical reason to object. Only issue will be getting block connectors for such high voltages.

Thanks Owen for your reply, the block connectors are given in amps what they can handle, the electrostatic speakers are very low in amps but very high in volts, they have small thin wire at the moment connect between panels.
