Thanks for the responses guys. Jer, yeah this is the only speaker section without one. Thomas, I will try to find your pics I am just surprised that you guys haven't already been showing off your speakers. Lots of intelligent contributors... I'm betting lots of great speakers. Just need to pull them together.

Thanks jer, and thanks for the link. I have to be more careful with my sentence structure because I meant to inquire about the method of generating the stretching effort. i had seen CharlieM's jig and the inner tube was clearly visible but I did not see one in Moray James' one. Perhaps it simply clamps the material?
