Default Monsoon Planars - Outdoor Speakers?

Anyone think these Monsoon planar speakers can take outdoor/Summer abuse? I am thinking of installing them on our Pergola (under the roof soffit), but do not believe they will last long out in the elements - I would have them powered by a Tripath jobbie and also have a basic sub on the patio too....I would take them in for winter....

If not so good an idea, any advice for other decent outdoor speakers?

I would rather use something I have, but may not be possible...

I wouldn't fret about them being outside. You do have to realize that they need dipole EQ below 1k so the typical small T-amp won't do. You will also be level limited. The short-lived Monsoon home speakers used multiple panels.

I was also thinking of the entire monsoon system (planar and sub) outside on the patio... don't need to go very loud...and it sounds quite good.....
