I saw the same setup for auction on Ebay 2-3 months ago. The guy who owns the company is named Russ Knotts. I called up and he's a nice guy, helpful and not pushy at all. It's going to be a while before I can afford the time to get into building his kit, but I am definately VERY interested in building them after I refinish my den and electronics so they have a happy home.
He is very flexible about substuting stuff in the DIY package. I was interested in upgrading to the larger panels (16X48) or his new curved panels (he said $100 more for either upgrade which seemed very reasonable).

If you do decide to get his speakers please let us know about your experience and definately post some pics of the finished speakers. Everyone here loooves looking at what everyone else has done.
The only negative about Just Real Music that I could see from his Ebay feedback and his own admission is that sometimes shipping can take up to 12 weeks.
I'm curious, what amplifier are you going to use for the ESLs. I posted a question about that a few months back and the response I got back from some of the people here (who are much more knowledgeable than me) was that ESLs need a quality and not inexpensive amp to drive them.

At this point I have only had the idea of building these speakers for abour 12 hours now, I still have a lot of research to do before I even decide if I should build them. Currently I just have a H/K AVR 525 receiver (It does have 45 amps of current, not top of the line but not bad either--but more for HT), I have been thinking of getting into DIY amps with a gainclone though.
I do wounder if I could use a sonotube as the bases of the rest of the speaker--It would make building a whole lot easier!

He gives a great over view of the different setups and the benefits and negatives of each system.
Another option if you want to minimize construction is a sub kit like they have at parts express. Their link follows, but there are many more kits out there if you look around.
