hi Mathieu,
you can get 0,01uF 6kv MKP from WIMA Germany, this is Polypropylene metalized caps.
i am waiting for the 56uF Polypropylene from SOLEN
after connection will listen to the spk and then will change the
HV 0,01uF 6kv MKP
i hope it will be a kind of improvement
in general is need of very powerful amp, i am using ODYSSEY AUDIO pwr and pre and are very good, phenomenal drive and clarity.

two caps in series increases the voltage rating... fwiw... may offer other options...

Interesting that you found that the MKP were better at the filtering of the HV.
The ceramic caps work better as the freq goes up, so why that would make it worse than a cap that does not work into as high a freq range, I have no idea!!

Ps. the biggest improvement I ever got with my Acoustats is to change out the caps in series with the HF section for all Polypropylene... it brings the upper mids in spatial alignment with the HF and the bass - with the stock caps the upper mids are always forward...

Hi Bar,

It is a kind of misunderstanding, may not have explained it clearly.
0.01 6Kv uF are for HI & LOW freq, the summing with the panels.
I have ceramic capas for hi voltage multiplies , I'll post some pics when it is finished.

You are right William, we are takling of different things. The tension ladder is always equipped with ceramics caps, and these are not on the path of the audio information...
