Default Planar driver response tests.

Everyone who is interested in Planar drivers must read the material at
http://www.snippets.org/alsr/index.php3
I am sure many have already read this ,but those who have not make sure you read it. I have not seen many people using baffles as wide as what they have tested. Very interesting.
cheers.

You also might want to have a look at Jim Griffin's white paper on inexpensive line arrays.

Default Thanks

Thanks Dan.
That's an interesting paper. It also refers to two other papers from JBL.
Thanks for posting the link.
Hope anyone else with related interesting links will post it on this thread.
Cheers.
Ashok.

The "Linus Array" is an interesting concept that is getting quite abit of interest on the Madisound board. Dr. Griffin's paper and the accompanying Linus Array outline the the principles for a very nice line array whose parts are around the $850 mark.

Regards,
Dan

P.S. I'm thinkng of doing a Linus Array later this year.
