Thanks for that Apex Jr - I checked them out http://www.ax-man.com/ they don't have online ordering which would benefit me as I am located in Australia.

Another ribbon thread mentioned http://www.supermagnetman.net/

but their prices don't seem to compete with magnet4less - but someone apparently did get a good deal on visually defective neo's from supermagnetmat for their project.

magnet4less also seems to have dimensions (and the right magnetizaiton direction) that suit ribbon's well.

I am currently looking at these sizes:
100mm x 25mm x 12.5mm (4" x 1" x 1/2") $13.99ea @ 10pcs
100mm x 12.5mm x 6.25mm (4" x 1/2" x 1/4") $3.29 ea @ 10pcs

Anyone else send their websites and I can make a list at the start of the thread. - Even possibly add a Ribbon entry to the wiki page.

Hi Andrew,

- but someone apparently did get a good deal on visually defective neo's from supermagnetmat for their project.

That would be me ;) . After a couple rounds of email tag trying to lock down a purchase of some bundles (his listings on his site were out of date at the time) I called him up. He's a great guy and will work with you. I ended up getting 150 50mm x 20mm x 10mm perfectly usable but blemished N35's for about $1.00 a piece . With shipping the whole order was under $200.00 :D .

I'd give him a call.

On another note, until you actually play with neo's this big you won't have a feel for just how powerful they are. I would suggest you keep the length down to 50mm to minimize the hazard of breakage as well as injury ( I only bled twice with this size :) )
