I know my parts are behind the time, but somebody gave me ASUS P5K-E/WIFI mobo that I have installed into my pc.
The problem is in it`s SoundMAX onboard sound card.
I have two amps connected to it (2 speakers per amp) and I had selected quadraphonic configuration... but rear speakers won`t play until I turn on sonic focus and when I do turn it on I can hear "surround enhancements".
It sounds awful. Is there anyway to bypass this without using a splitter and connecting to only front (green) channel?
Before I had C-Media PCI Audio Card 5.1 that was cool with delivering signal to all amps (I even had subwoofer) without any noticable sound change, but now I can almost hear echo :S
