SATA to Gpio

Hi, do someone knows if it's possible to connect a sata/esata ecc. hard drive to a gpio port on a minipc board?
In this case i'm asking about a Odroid C1+ !

Short answer no. USB with an adaptor is about your only option.

Do you know a powerfull enough (likeC1+)sbc pc with sata connector?

In other words the sata input use the same usb bus!??!?!
So it's useless?!?!?

I was not able to google out output of lsusb command for this board. It would tell you which USB controller is the USB-SATA bridge hooked to. The H3 block diagram H3_Allwinner Technology talks about 3 USB hosts, I would assume 3 independent USB controllers (i.e. busses).

It seems that the odroid c1+ have an indipendent mini usb too, someone say on a second bus, but i'm not able to verify it!

Ok, but i don't have the board yet, i've found this on the net:

........So when you have touch module, plug it in to C1 or Linux desktop and run "lsusb" command. It will show you the USB device list with such IDs.......

........today I prove it and this is what I see when write lsusb on android terminal: http://s10.postimg.org/jidbqckgp/20150520_125109.jpg at this time I was using 3 ports, 1 for touch module, 1 for mouse and the other for keyboard.............

The lsusb printout shows there is nothing hooked to the second USB bus, while the first has a usb hub (very likely onboard) with MS mouse, Dell keyboard (with internal hub) and RPI touchscreen. The discussion (ODROID Forum • View topic - 9" lcd touch screen will run??) did not reveal which USB connectors the guy used.

Nevertheless the Odroid C1 block diagram http://dn.odroid.com/homebackup/201507/ODROID-C1+Blockdiagram.png shows the internal connections right away. The microusb otg port has a separate host controller.

Late reply but FYI the Udoo Quad has SATA support ....

It has a SATA connector with a power header.
