Hello
sorry for the bad bad bad english
i made this version of ubuntu minimal no shell remastersys(11.04)+ mpd(0.16.8)
Boot in ram...toram...no installation.. .... just wait for loading
Once you have done ... you can 'manage one of several client Mpd.

You only need a USB disk to be partitioned ..
First partition ....... ext4-ext3 ... with unetbootin to copy the iso ..
Second partition ... ntfs ..... copied folders mpd and music , present in 'archive.

Tested with Atom netbook and usb dac V-DAC II(realtek audio is disable)
