laptop for audiophile needs
i thought i had it figured out, then looking at the patch note just now i realize... asus tf201 doesn't have audio when booting into ubuntu! :(

i've been trying to find a laptop for streaming music from while comfortably browsing the web and just when i thought i found the perfect canditate, it has no sound... not to metion ubuntu isn't even stable on it yet.

asus transformers would make an ideal laptop for audio streaming if it could run linux flawlessly. it has minial weight, heat emission, and zero noise. and the last part is a deciding factor for me, because i recently bought another asus product, a netbook, that's suppose to have one of the quietest noise emission in the market, and it still manages to annoy me while the music plays.

so my requirements are- silent, light, cool, and runs linux.

anyone have any suggestions?

i had considered silent desktop with a monitor but i really want something that i can put on my lap while sitting on a couch, for ergonomic's sake.

oh, i plan on plugging it into lucian's waveio board.
