Hi,
Looking at the new Ivy bridge compact models coming out like the cool ASUS P8Z77-I with "seperate reg board" etc Mini-ITX + Overclocking + Ivy Bridge + Gaming = ASUS P8Z77-I (hands-on video) :: TweakTown USA Edition I cant help but wondering how taking spdif directly from the mainboard and running it through say Ian's asynchronous I2S and S/PDIF FIFO KIT would do vs running USB through say Lorien's WaveIO. Could run both straight into an ess9023 or similar. Any opinions? I really like this new asus mb btw
