Hi. I recently ripped all my music to Flac with a few higher quality Mp3.
When changing tunes, and I forget to turn down or mute I get the most horrendous pops. Anyone had this problem and found a fix? It's awful. Thanks. Dust |

YES!!! I'm having this issue with WAV files though. If I convert to FLAC they're fine, no pops. Unfortunately I haven't been able to ascertain what actually causes it yet either, so I'm not much help.

Hi Lowpoke. Well from what I can glean off the web I have an issue with using an external DAC. If I use the Duets Dac I get no pops. Something to do with the clocks if I understand it. Hopefully you wont have to re-rip thousands of tunes to Flac, but at least you have a work-around.

OK, that's consistent with my situation. I'm using an external DAC. I might read up on this now that you've flagged it.
Glad you like the site
