Loudness wars software

i tryed a sotware to " remove " loudness wars and " restore " some quality to sound files but i cant remenber the name or find it , can someone help me ?

SeeDeClip Duo Pro from Cute Studios (also a DIYAudio member) is one of these. It is more effective with earlier non digital types of compression, but definitely worth a try.

Out of curiosity, are there any other programs that do the same?

i´m sure there are other but i only know declip , but some songs are so compressed and distorted the software cant make miracles...

You can try audacity - effect Fix Clip.
