Lately a few DACs support DSD streaming via usb.
How do they do it? And what options are there for us DIYers? Examples: Playback Designs MPD-3 DAC (with puremusic) Mytec Stereo 192-DSD DAC Mastering I hope that I do understand correctly that they are streaming DSD and not converting to PCM… so it is DSD -> dac chip, and many many dac chips support dsd via i2s. I would be very happy to stream DSD from my audio PC to my DIY dac, and glad to try some test builds of such an interface. |

I do not know if this info is accurate
Mytek Stereo 192 | Computer Audiophile could USB Audio - Rigisystems be actually in use by mytek? And if so what would a DIYer do to get DSD out of the pc ? |

Very interesting finding. Why not ask the functionality to RigiSystems directly ?
I guess that you are aware that DSP is not possible on a DSD signal. If you want to do DSP, you need to convert the DSD into a PCM. |
