And I was dissapointed by the sound..
Therfore I´m asking is there a good USB 2 Spdif converter DIY one is a candidate to. |

Compared to my modded Squezeebox Duet modded with A new cklock and new spdif out.
The M2Tech had a more closed ,hardsound compared to duet wich also seemed to go deaper in bas. |

I tried one and it seemed to work and sound fine. It's a bit expensive for what it does, but the functioning seems to be exactly as advertised.

Yes,it does what it´s suposed to,but my modded Duet dos sound nicer.
And as I am going to use my laptop I want it to sound as good as or better than the duet. |

I think the Musiland Monitor 01 USD sounds good. For about half the cost of the M2. It has BNC, RCA & optical outputs. Never tried the M2 though.

I'm using the Teradak Teralink X-2 with my notebook

I tried my Hiface EVO today and it sounds smoth and fine,even Motörhead sounds smoth...
