Id recomend beefing up the ground track, or better still try and flood the ground copper.

this is not the final design. I'll definitly put ground plane in the final design

Interesting little chip and design, I'd be interested in doining a full SMD layout just to see how small it could be made.

Let me know when you have a prototype that you want tested. I have 2 PCM2704 chips already and we can work out a BOM. It will be my first time soldering SMD, but it shouldn't be too tough.

I use Cadstar so I'll copy the schematic into cadstar and have a play.
