Disregarding the old Audigy links - are there any soundcards that have multiple independant S/PDIF outputs?
Is it necessary to convert from AES3 from a Lynx AES (and I think there's an RME that's similar)? Thanks James |

I have been searching these days for the sound card with only digital outs. I am acctually quite fine with AES/EBU.
RME allows you to switch through the software commercial or professional out (S/PDIF or AES/EBU), at least it does on my curent RME interface Fireface 800. Software is the same - Total Mix for all, so I am pretty sure that you will have that choice with this card RME: HDSPe AES or RME: Hammerfall DSP AES-32 One is PCIepress and other one is PCI based. Changing on your own from AES 110 ohm balaced to S/PDIF 75 ohm unbalanced is also very easy. |
