I am aware of the free foobar crossover and the Thuneau allocator lite crossover. What other digital PC based crossover systems are available? Any help would be appreciated.
I'm looking for some new things to try out. Need some advice!! |

Not a lot really. There were some positive threads about it on a few of the scandinavian audio forums, but I can't remember any details, sorry.
/U. EDIT: I think there was a mention of it on HT guide some time ago, but I can't find it. |

I cant seem to find any documentation about latency. Do you think it would process the signal in real time or very low latency? I want to process DVD sound also, not just music and the lip sync issue has to be addressed.

ChannelDivider may help you. It's free and easy to use. There are 2 versions of this fb2000 component for 2 way or 3way xover.

Your DVD playback SW should allow to adjust video delay just for these purposes.

What's SW?
Also, I'm piping Blu Ray sound into the PC with an external Blu Ray player. Not using a built in Blu Ray drive. So your thought may not work for me unless I switch to internal DVD and Blu Ray???? |

SW = software. I assumed you were playing from PC completely. Your BR player should allow for adjusting video/audio delay. However, the time span of the option may not be enough to compensate the delay of audio in PC X-over, if you choose long filters with many taps. You should be able to google a practical info, I have no hands-on experience with PC X-over. |

Hey thanks, I've tried to find in my BR player how to delay the video but my player doesn't have the feature. My PC is fast enough to handle the load right now with Thuneau but with a more intensive software solution I know that this has been a problem for some other folks. So I'm trying to plan ahead.
I have gotten some good software suggestions so far from you guys. Haven't found anything yet to make me buy though. Hopefully I'll get a few more? Thanks for the help though!!
