Has anyone got any experience of this Muse badged USB DAC?
USB DAC + Headphone Amplifier(PCM2707+DIR9001+PCM1793) on eBay (end time 12-Dec-09 03:08:19 GMT) Seems to have the right main chips to deliver good performance. Thanks Peter |

Hi Peter!
Sure, the ingredients look pretty good, but I would be careful with this seller. Two very bad feedbacks without any response of the seller is something like a no-go to me. Further more, nice parts don't mean necessarily nice performance... In the end I think you might always get what you pay for. So if you want a really good sounding DAC, you'll probably have to spend a bit more. I tried out some rather inexpensive DACs before, and none of them really convinced me. But then of course, this might also be a matter of personal taste. Regards! martin |
