Default stupid question.... import PCB to PDF..

Hi to everybody.

just a stupid question.
I've finisched to design the P1.7 board with Allegro Cadence.
I'm wondering if any of you guys can help me to figure those issues out:

1- i used the shapes to draw the ground on both sides... and i used solid style. how can i print the pcb on a paper having black color for both nets and shapes (i mean the shapes is quite lighter than the nets are)

2- how can i export the pcb to a PDF file?

Thanks in advance for the informations.

Best regards,
Stefano.

I can recommend PDF Factory from http://www.fineprint.com/products/pdffactory/index.html
It is installed as default printer to your Windows, you can choose between a number of options before saving PDF file.

and yes, there are no stupid questions, just stupid answers :-)
happy home brewing
Tom

thanks to everybody.

I used the pdffactory and work...now i'm going to try the other free one.

But i don't understand one thing...and hope that somebody could help me:

I made the ground mask using shape on Allegro Cadence.

When i print it it's not black but gray...and i used solid shape.
When i'm going to burn the pcb (self made with photoimpression) it's won't turn out fine!

How can i make the shape solid black?

I suspect it's an issue with your PCB software, maybe you need to set it to print different layers differently.

Failing that you could try printing in a black & white mode and see if the grey is dark enough to be forced to black.
