I am building a BOZ and would like to use fixed resistors(instead
of 100k pot) at input,my power amp need 1.25v for full output. What value seem to be a good choice. Also it seem that EB on TIP 29c are in reverse position if TIP29c is well BCE(as per original article TAA/94 and Pass Lab site. Thanks for your help.

You mean stepped attenuator? Or 1 volume level?
I had troubles with only a POT at the output, the amplifier distorted like hell. Now I have put a 100k resistor in series with the input. For the powersupply I used the BD139. |

Hi Praudio, you should calculate the resistor attenuator. it depends to the output voltage level of your source (CD player ) Give me it I will give you the result.
