Hello
The impendance variation of the 2805 according to Quad is 4 to 15 ohms. is this suitable for the XA series? |

I believe you will be seeing the 4 ohm figure at the top end,
where fortunately there isn't all that much energy, so I think it'll be fine.

I don't have something more specific for the 2805 particularly but I can imagine that it is the same as that of the esl-63. Below I have stereophiles measurements of the old esl-63 and the newer bigger 989.

My rule of thumb is that energy declines above 5 KHz at
12 dB/oct, so 4 ohms at 10 KHz is not an issue.
