Default STAIS3 Power Amplifier

Is there a safe and reliable way to get this amp to run hot, like the 400a, its predecessor? If so, how much is involved? I.E. is it more a matter of parts or of tweaking and re-biasing? Thanks for any help.

Sorry, but this might be a stupid question: Why on earth do you want your Stasis 3 to run hot?
Me sure dont get the point

It's simply a matter of very carefully adjsting the bias pots
to bring the sink temperature up. The maximum recommended
temp is 55 deg C. on the sinks after an hour warmup.

Default Stasis3

This is a reply to the guy from Denmark and a question to Nelson Pass. I want it to run hot because the Threshold equipment sounds better when it runs hot. The question to Mr. Pass is, since you already advised how hot the Stasis can be adjusted to run, I am assuming that this is a safe modification?

Default Golden Faceplate?

Got an Stasis 3 amp with a partial golden face. The only lettering is "STASIS".
Serial# is H8103414.

Has anyone knowledge if this golden faceplate is an original one?

Cheers,
Gerhard

While nicely done, I don't think it came from the factory.
