Hi all!
The NEC datasheet states 3 variants of the 2SC1844: P...200<hfe<400 F...300<hfe<600 E...400<hfe<800 with hfe being the DC current gain at 1mA and 6Vs. Well, some substituted that one with the BC550C having an hfe between 420 and 800. So what's the prefered variant for the Ono/XOno? Does somebody know or has a clue? Or is it simply not a very important parameter after all? Thanks for all hints! Cheers, Hannes PS: seems everyone who build the X/Ono didn't care at all about that...couldn't find any mentioning of these different variants.
