You were gracious enough to gift me with 4 F Series heatsinks at BA 07. I will finally have time and money to commence the build this month. I am wondering if I orient all 4 heatsinks 90 degrees from each other for an aleph style enclosure, (with a MUCH different look), will the heatsinking be adequate to include all 4 channels for 2x100w monoblocks inside the same chassis? The PS will be outboard so that I can tap it for any Fx amplifier.

Thank you all for your time,

Chris

Horizontal or vertical fins?

Aah, you mean like dual bridged monaural power amp ?
Sounds pretty cool, actually. (the name and the 4-in-1 idea)

They are F series fins so they are horizontal. It will be a different look.

The cap bank photo op will be coming.....but will look like the top of 20 Nichicons that have been in a box for a LONG time.

Well, I wanted to figure, if you meant to make a tall tower.......

Since that's not the case, no problem.

I don't think the tall tower thing would work. Reminds me of Variac's BA project that you helped put together though.

Exactly! The tall tower thing, will just be waste of good heatsink, as the efficiency decreases dramatically at over 6 inches.
