driving AlephX unbalanced reasonable?

Hi!

I saw that the AlephX can be driven with unbalanced inputs, however I think this will greatly reduce the effectiveness of the supersymmetrical design, no?

Like in the X-amps that have no unbalanced inputs at all.

The PL products have balanced and unbalanced inputs and there
is almost no difference in performance. If you ground the - input,
then it amplifies the difference between ground and the +
input.

With a single-ended input you don't get the noise cancellation
from balanced lines, but that is an artifact external to the
amplifier.
