Cheap Solen Inductors for PI Filter on eBay

Hi all,

I've had no end of trouble locating good inductors to use in a Pi Filter (CLC) for Aleph 2 monoblocks. Retail prices in Australia are crazy (if you can find strock at all), and shipping cost from the US can be prohibitive, especially since some vendors won't offer ground shipping (eg, Parts Express).

I found this on eBay - 12GA 6.8mH Solen Inductors @ US$38.21 each, which I understand to be a very good price:

DCR is 0.49 ohm, which is fine for my PSU.

The seller was quite helpful when I contacted them and has good feedback. They offered 3 shipping methods, including the surface shipping. Estimate af about US$50 for shipping 4 to Australia. I expect this to be a trouble free transaction.

They have 50 or so left in stock. hope that helps others in the big-choke market!
