DIY aleph 4 with reduce o/p

Thank you Mr Nelson for sharing you design.
I had chosen this amp as it meets my power supply requirement. However the output Fet were reduced to 3set/channel.

i tested every output stage, one at a time before paralleling them together. And it works the first time every time. :)

AS for the sound...... wonderful!!!!!!!!!!
But now my weakest link is my audioNote preAmp kit. Therefore i am now planning to build a P1.7 without the balance input.

i think the casing looks absolutely fantastic!

The heatsinks look like they're from KaiChin?
How did you fabricate the casing? Were they custom made or DIYed in the backyard?

What is the voltage drop across the source resistors? What values of resistors did you use?

i do not have a backyard, but i do have a workshop in my office. :)
i brought raw alu and did the mechining in the workshop.
All the parts i used were normal/cheap parts, execpt for the E-cap and transformer.

Even the heatsinks were used want. only S$10/pc.
