Purpose of 9-Volt Battery in Pearl?
What is the purpose of the 9-volt battery in the Pearl? There seems to be no reference to it in Wayne Colbrun's original piece. It just appears out of nowhere in the final schematic. It also seems to be marked "optional" on the main board. Is it indeed optional?
