Folks,
I have a D1 with the 24/96 upgrade, and have developed a tiny interest in adding a I2C input. I'd happily do without the Toslink in exchange, as I imagine adding an additional input to this thing would be difficult due to the relayed switching system... anyone ever thought about this? Would it be ridiculous, perhaps impossible? Would I be better off looking for another DAC which comes with an I2C input should I choose to go the I2C route? Cheers, --jeff |

Sure you don't mean I²S instead of "I2C"? I²C is a control bus and certainly not capable of carrying digital audio signals.

Yup. I spend too much time working on computers to remember audio interface names
