Hello,
it is quite a funny thing. I was looking on constructing a different I/V-converter after reading an article by Hawksford. He described a system using a common base topology. But I didn't like the introducing of the feedback. So I played with the 2SK389 and then I saw that there is already an circuit by Klaus using this device based on the D1 I/V-stage. Now I'm wondering how to scale it to another DAC-output. My DAC gives 7.8mA p-p. So I set up the upper and the lower CCS (I replaced the circuits by ideal CCS in pspice) an tried some simulation in pspice. Now the question is, wether my values are correct or not and how is the correct way to set up the I/V-stage for my DAC?
Greetings,
Raphael

Hi Raphael,
Here's another thread were scaling the D1 I/V was discussed.

I don't think I've seen it. What article was that?
