Only finding standard manual for F2 on FW site..

Manual don`t say anything about bias, or voltage..
Tried google, but no service manual..

My supply voltage for the F2J is 27VDC

I set the bias per post 51 of this thread.

Ok, but that do not say how high the bias is...
Must also check over R16/R17 as Zen mentioned.

didn't I replied with exact Iq value ?

in my book , that's exactly what bias means .......... except if you didn't think of bias voltage , which is completely different thing ........ and irrelevant in most cases , especially in this one

Iq / bias (the same!!) I thrust is correct, of course! 2.766A
Think you missunderstood my reply, Zen

floccini talking about adjusting Iq as in post 51. I would not do that as you will have no control over the correct Iq value.

my misunderstanding

I actually did measure voltage drop across R16/R17 at the same time.
Had 620mV so my current was/is 620/235 = 2.6A. Very stable
