F4 is a buffer, F5 is a current source, both low wattage.

F6, 7, 8 are higher power versions of the 3, 4, 5 and are
monoblocks.

These will start being available (in sequence) in January
and will have very limited availability.

I bought a new buyers guide and they were in there. So I just wondered what they were. Thanks Nelson.

Default Buffer?

What is the buffer for?
Why another current source? Does it use jfet's?

The announcements will apear shortly. I timed the January Stereophile guide for December, and had to make the decisions
about the listings last summer.

Lots of people need impedance converters (fancy name for
buffer), but like the current sources, the territory is largely
unexplored.

For those of you who don't have a need for followers, there
will be lots of other interesting amplifiers soon.

If a highpower version of the F3 is released, I hope it sell's out pretty fast so we can see the service manual. I have 4 nice heatsinks lying around, waiting for just that

The design is not yet complete, so don't hold your breath.
