Hi everyone!
I am on the starting blocks of getting parts for the Aleph2īs. NOW. I have seen that I should use IRFP240 for the outputstage. Thatīs OK. But I have come across a big amount of IRFP460LC. What would be the problem if I used theese instead. And what would I have to change to make those work (if I even CAN use them in this amplifier). The main difference is that IRFP460LC are higher in Ptot:280W, Vds:500V and slightly higer Ohm:0,27. AND they are much more expensive then the IRFP240. Otherwhise they are the "same"... Could I use theese?????

Probably you can drop them right in.

I can get 50 or so of these for next to nothing. Would they work for an Aleph 5 or 2?
Thanks! |
