Mini Aleph Board & Aleph 2 Parts List
 

Hello,

I finished up the A40. I would like to build an Aleph 2 using Brian’s Mini Aleph PCBs.
I would like to do so in a single chassis due to the limited availability of Aleph 2 service info I’m not sure of the VA rating of the power transformer. I have a 30-0-30 1KVA Avel on hand but think I need more along the lines of a 1500 to 2000 VA to do a stereo single chassis version. Would the IRF P250 make a suitable output device? I would also like to know of any errata on the PCB and what components are changed for the 2 verses the 5.

can i use irfp 250 or irfp 260 insted of irfp240 in pass lab clone amplifier.
