Hitachi MOSFETs - Which Zen Design???

Hi all,

I have a collection of Hitachi 2sj49/2sk134 & 2SJ50/2SK135 mosfets and was wondering which Zen design would be the most suitable for these devices. I have previously constructed the Return-Of-Zen design which would utilise the above devices but I'm curious about whether other NPN/PNP combos might be worth trying. All comments appreciated.

i think it's been mentioned that the lateral family of mosfets (of which the hitachi parts you referred to are members) have too low transconductance to be highly useful in the Zen circuits.

Times ago, I used these nice things for my high power AB amps.
I miss them, I mean MOSFETS (TO3) . . . very good.

I think that if you know Vgs(th), etc, of them, we might be able to build any Zens, by adjusting resistor values if necessary . . .

Yeah . . . and I have to live with rather high output impedance . . .

Ahhh . . . that time, Goldmund amps were using 2sj49/2sk134 . . .
