The professionals will notice that there are no screws visible from the outside, other than 4 at the back.
You don't even find that on Pass Lab products. Not a easy construction.

Respect.

Here is my version of this fine preamp. Cheff DeGaar himself helped me a lot with hints and good advice. Thanks again for helping and for making this great design available to the community!
In case you want to see "the making of…" look here
...I've been waiting patiently for this work of yours Martin.... still you amazed me.

It's what Françoi's work deserves.....fantastic, congratulations.

As for reliability and daily usage, mine has been running for near 3 years, no problems.

You should upgrade the power handling on the earth return resistors on the power supply.

They will change value a lot due to on/off switching action.
I discussed this with François and he suggested 2W, i did so and no more problems since.

Enjoy it's beautifull.

Of course, I must mention that Manu provided all the necessary files that I was unable to find in this universe of very loooong threads! Thank you very much for that and for your encouragment to start this build! I do hope you forgive that I have not mentioned this in the first post.

Thanks all for your nice comments!

Patrik, I likewise admire your outstanding work on the classy F5X!!

CeeVee, honestly I much hoped that mighty ZM would say exactly that. It means a lot to me! The resitors you mentioned I have changed to 15R, 3W. And I have used electrolytics of higher service voltage.

Manu, first I noticed a much better bass (no caps) and the wide, spatial presentation, sure I will like it! BTW, do you know about a better preamp schematic for DIYers?

Amazing Tiroler! Clean look inside and out, symmetrical rear, display, pass-thru. Did you do a custom remote as well?
