Default Heatsinks in europe

Hi folks

Do any of you know where to get large cheap heat sinks in (northern) europe?

I'm going need some heatsinks for my upcoming Aleph X project.

The heatsinks in the Aleph X heat sink thread are nice, but it would proberly cost a fortune to get them to europe.

Are you thinking of a group purchase then you should check with Austerlitz, Fischer and Seifert.
If it's only for yourself Elfa sell Austerlitz 300.6/ 1meter for about 3500,-.

There is a company in sweden (Enköping) called webra (www.webra.se) that I know that they have most types of heatsinks and they are way cheaper than Elfa. You will have to call them and order a catalog though becouse their homepage *cough* well.. hmm..

I second that list...

Also check the prices at Schuro since they seem to be fairly cheap. The Swedish distributor for Seifert has stopped stocking them AFAIK.

Price is good here it seems:

The Seiferts:

Alutronic, products seem very nice here and they have good silpads:
http://www.alutronic.de/

The Austerlitz's:
http://www.austerlitz-electronic.de

The Fischers:
http://www.fischerelektronik.de/

The extreme:

Please also note that prices are VERY different from the same supplier in different countries so for instance buying a heatsink at Farnell Switzerland is cheaper including shipping then to buy it in Sweden for certain good types.

I have been in contact with Shro lately. Just to check their way of delivering, payment etc. Got some mails back with answers.
When I ordered (more than six weeks ago) : NO answers any more.
Anyone better experience with this company?

Or even Schuro... ;-)

I ordered and it took 2 weeks to get a reply that everything was ready for shipment. After that it took a week to get the stuf and everything was perfect. They seem heavily overloaded but IMO they seem honest and seem to deliver even if it takes a while. I suspect your on the backlog list and will receive a mail once everything you ordered is ready for shipment or otherwise soon a mail asking if you wish to leave the late things off the order.
