am new to DIY amps and have been scanning the forum for a while. I have an interest in making my own amp (since the speakers I just bought broke my bank). I have spoken with some
folks who have said that these speakers (the Proac Response 3.8) need at least 150 watts per channel. Is there a reasonable starting point in DIY to ultimately achieve this goal or am I out in left field thinking that I'll build my own excellent sounding 200wpc amp by finding a design on the net. Any of you who've "been down this road" and have any suggestions before I pull the trigger on this I would greatly appreciate it.
