Has anyone mentioned that near the end of the article Nelson shows how to use the amp, a signal generator, signal generator and an 8 ohm power resistor to look at the amp's distortion.

I know I've mentioned several times but I don't know if anyone has ever tried it. I've used it and it works great. I just use my distortion analyzer and o'scope in vector mode now.

What is the bias current of the CT12 ? This will help me.

100 mA or so. Best procedure is to bias using distortion analyzer. Lacking
that, run the heat sinks at the 10 second rule.

Did you also replace R1 with 2.4mA CRD??? Can you suggest any part#
