Qestion: is the x-bosoz stable at unity ?
I need a buffer stage to go in after my current to voltage converter stage of sacd dac. If it would be a good choice, what small devices would be good. The irf-xxx's that are in most peoples versions are bigger than I would like to work with, something smaller than to-220. Or could some suggest some other choices. I currently use a four transistor cascoded design from audio amateur 1/88 by C. Paul I love Mr Pass's designs so I would like to try it. So I thought I would ask before I built a prototype. TIA john |

As I understand the X, You canīt make it with followers (buffer), because the connected sources is the path for the X-communication, and also the followers canīt act as a diffrential stage. You need the +- outputs at the drains.
