I'm in the process of gathering parts for my Aleph P preamp. As I am not very experienced with the technical issues I was wondering if someone could help me with the attenuator. I have decided to try a high quality analog attenuator and not a digital one.
The question is: Will a 10k attenuator work for the Aleph P or should I choose a different value? (Or all together a different approach?). I was thinking of a DACT balanced attenuator. Thanks for any answers! |

The P uses a shunt to ground, varying from about 5K down
to 0 ohms. A 10K pot will work fine. |
