Well want to build one... a pass diy class A that is. Don't see any hot group buys (or point them to me) for particular run. Sounds like aleph-x is a favorite, but also want to cut me teeth. Have built a couple discrete amps via kits/pcb.
Have a slew of tranfo's on hand. Where can I get boards or what is one I can etch myself. With those fuzzy constraints, any recommendations? |

A lot depends on your skills and the speakers to drive. All PassDiy amps are designed with beginner skills in mind. AlephX is a bit tougher, but a great project to do. I build mine on veroboard with very good results. I for one find it more amusing than plugging parts into a ready made PCB. /Hugo

Here's a GB on the mini-Aleph's. You can scale if from 10watts to 60 very easily.
