Default SoZ output impedance?

Exactly, what is the output impedance of a standard SoZ??

ciao,

If the load is 8 ohm the damping factor is 0.5

If this can help.

My load (RoyalDevice Laura speakers) is "realistically" 6ohm. How do you get dumping factor out of speaker loading impedance?

Actually my SoZ (5.5w) does a great job in driving the Lauras, which are specifically designed to work best on no FB, low dumping factor amps... so I'm asking for mere desire of knowledge; besides, a friend expressed the thought the SoZ has a 16ohm output impedance... and that frankly, it's hard to believe.

I learned that damping factor on son of zen is the load resistor

divided by the sum of the drain resistors.

In your case is 6/ (8+8)=0.375

In other word, SOZ has very little damping factor.
